Vanessa Hudgens (born Vanessa Anne Hudgens on December 14th, 1988 in Salinas, California) is an American actress and singer. She grew up singing and acting on Broadway and minor TV roles, but caught her claim to fame in Disney Channel's "High School Musical". She has had cameos in a few TV shows such as "Drake & Josh" and has a recurring role on "The Suite Life Of Zack & Cody". Her musical career got on its feet in September 2006 with the release of her solo album simply titled "V", with the popular song "Come Back To Me". The "V" album title not only stands for her name, Vanessa Hudgens, but also stands for variety.
